Objective
Provide registered family members with a private, mobile-friendly
application for creating albums, contributing photographs, and
viewing the family collection.
Scope
- Membership, registration, sign-in, and account recovery
- Album creation, ownership, and visibility
- Device photo uploads and thumbnail generation
- Responsive gallery and photo viewer
- Contribution permissions and photo management
Completion criteria
- A member can create an album and upload a photograph.
- Another authorized member can view the shared album.
- Unauthorized users cannot access albums, originals, or thumbnails.
- Ownership and contribution rules are enforced by the server.
- The experience works on phone and desktop.
- Database and media backup restoration is demonstrated.
Planning notes
Invitation-only membership and owner-private/family-shared visibility
are proposed defaults requiring confirmation during refinement.
Child features will carry detailed acceptance criteria.
